Dreamt of you, again

I dreamt of him again last night
This time we kissed
It was between me and her
For once, I won

The kiss was beautiful
Soft and sweet, the way it should be
The way it could be

He didn't know who to choose
I said "make a list, tell me how to be perfect"
He made one, filled with six
All of them silly

It didn't matter
I cried and cried
So I made him one too

All it said was a few simple words
You are perfect exactly the way you are
His jaw dropped, he was left totally confused

All he could do was kiss me
And so that's what he did
